Prescription Verification for Colored Contact Lenses
(For United State)

Lens.Asia is committed to providing the best possible customer service. As part of this commitment, we require a valid prescription for all colored contact lens orders. This is to ensure you receive the correct lenses and maintain the health of your eyes.

How to Verify Your Prescription:

You can verify your prescription with Lens.Asia in two easy ways:

1. Upload Your Prescription:

  • Take a clear photo or scan of your prescription.
  • Upload your prescription when you place your order on the cart page.
  • You can also email your prescription to [email protected] and include your order ID.

2. Submit Your Doctor’s Information:

  • Provide your optometrist’s name and phone number.
  • We will contact your doctor to verify your prescription. This process takes approximately 12 hours.
  • Our initial call is to inform your doctor’s office of your prescription details. They can then verify the information with us at their convenience.

What if I Don’t Have a Prescription?

If you don’t have a copy of your contact lens prescription, you can still order from Lens.Asia:

  • Get an Online Eye Exam: You can get an online eye exam with a contact lens prescription from the comfort of your own home through Opternative. This service costs US$35. Once you receive your prescription, please send it to us via upload form, when you place your order, or by email ([email protected]).

Understanding Your Prescription:

Your prescription includes important information about your vision needs. Here’s a breakdown of the key terms:

  • OD: Right eye
  • OS: Left eye
  • SPH (Sphere): This number indicates the diopter (D) required to correct your vision. A minus sign (-) indicates nearsightedness.
  • CYL (Cylinder): This number indicates the diopter required to correct astigmatism.
  • Axis: This number shows the orientation of your astigmatism.
  • PD: Pupillary distance, the measurement between your pupils.

Prescription Validity:

US law states that your contact lens prescription is valid for 1-2 years from the date of issue, depending on your eye care provider’s state.
